Android Developer - Contract (Odense, Denmark)


We are a leading technology company specializing in mobile applications and we are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Odense, Denmark.

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure the best user experience and functionality for each app.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred but not required
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation during the contract period.

Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark. Candidates must be willing to relocate or have the ability to work remotely within the country.
