Junior Android Developer

We are a fast-growing tech startup based in Odense, seeking a Junior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a contract job with the potential for long-term growth and development within our company. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about mobile development and have basic knowledge of Android app development. This position is suitable for men or women with their own visa who are looking to gain experience in the tech industry.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and test new features for our Android mobile application
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure a seamless user experience
- Debug and fix any issues that arise during testing or after release
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android app development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Basic knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Familiarity with the Android Studio IDE and the Android SDK
- Experience using Git for version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum framework
- Experience developing mobile applications for different screen sizes and resolutions
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Published at least one app on the Google Play Store
