Information Security Analyst


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Odense. The role requires someone with a strong background in cybersecurity, network security, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing security protocols and procedures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing strategies to mitigate potential risks. Experience with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR and ISO 27001 is preferred. The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems
- Monitor network traffic and analyze logs for any suspicious activity
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Investigate any reported security incidents or breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop disaster recovery plans in case of a cybersecurity incident
- Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and tools
- Experience with conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments
- Familiarity with industry standards such as GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
- Experience working with cloud-based systems is a plus
- Prior experience with incident response and disaster recovery is an advantage
- Must be willing to relocate to Odense and have a valid work permit if not a Danish citizen

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month, with the potential for growth and advancement based on performance.
