We are hiring a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Odense, Denmark. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's databases. Your main duties will include ensuring the security, performance, and availability of our databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain company databases to ensure optimum performance and availability
- Monitor database systems to identify and resolve any issues or potential problems
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing backup and recovery plans
- Work closely with the IT team to develop database strategies for optimal functionality
- Analyze database usage trends to make recommendations for future improvements
- Troubleshoot any database-related issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding database procedures and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience working as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)
- Familiarity with SQL language for querying and manipulating data
- Experience with database design, normalization, optimization, and tuning techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Salary:
$1600 per month (may vary based on experience)

Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark. Relocation assistance is not provided.
