Database Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Odense on a part-time basis. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing our company's databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility, and assisting with data analysis and reporting. This position also includes accommodation and is open to individuals with their own visa or students looking for part-time work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Backup and restore databases as needed
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Assist with data analysis and reporting tasks as assigned
- Develop database procedures and scripts for efficient data management
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and make recommendations for improving database efficiency.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and database management systems (MySQL, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with database design principles, indexing strategies, and best practices for efficient query execution
- Experience with data backup/recovery solutions and security protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary: 1700$ per month (part-time).

Location: Odense, Denmark. This position is open to all nationalities but accommodation is provided.

Working hours: Part-time schedule (to be discussed during interview).

Visa requirement: Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible for a student visa.
