Locksmith Technician


As a Locksmith Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional and efficient locksmith services to clients in the city of Odense. You will work with a wide range of lock and key systems, including traditional locks, electronic locks, and access control systems. Your main responsibilities will include installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a locksmith
- Strong knowledge of lock mechanisms, including mechanical and electronic systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with various tools used in locksmith work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service

Responsibilities:
- Install new locks for residential, commercial, or industrial properties
- Repair or replace broken or damaged locks
- Program and install electronic locking systems
- Cut new keys for existing locks using key-cutting machines
- Provide emergency lockout services for clients in need of immediate assistance
- Conduct security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in locking systems
- Make recommendations for security upgrades based on client needs

Skills:
- Proficient in using lock picking tools and other specialized equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring for installation of electronic locking systems
- Good understanding of different types of keys (e.g. pin tumbler keys, wafer keys)
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required. Additional training or certification from a recognized locksmith association is preferred.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

This job is based in Odense but candidates from other cities within Denmark are also welcome to apply.
