Preservation Architect - Odense, Denmark
We are a leading architectural firm in the historic preservation industry, seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Odense, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic structures while adhering to strict conservation principles and guidelines. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and proposals in accordance with conservation principles
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
- Oversee construction work on historic buildings to ensure compliance with conservation guidelines
- Monitor project progress and budget to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Document all stages of preservation work for recordkeeping purposes
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in historic preservation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of conservation principles and guidelines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Fluency in English (Danish proficiency is preferred but not required)
