Preservation Architect
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Odense, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and landmarks, ensuring their structural integrity and maintaining their historical significance. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural conservation principles and techniques, as well as excellent project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Monitor and oversee restoration work to ensure quality and adherence to conservation standards
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and budget management
- Provide expertise and guidance on preservation projects to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture or similar role
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of architectural conservation principles and techniques
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail with the ability to conduct thorough building assessments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various professionals
- Biometric passport for international travel may be required for project work
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark. Our office is located in the heart of the city, easily accessible by public transportation.
