Preservation Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Odense. This is a contract position with a salary of 900$ per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural preservation, with experience working on historic buildings and structures. A biometric passport is required for this position.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for assessing the condition of historic structures, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that preservation efforts are carried out effectively and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural preservation
- Knowledge of historical construction methods and materials
- Experience with restoration techniques
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and plans
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans that meet the needs of clients while adhering to conservation principles
- Overseeing restoration projects, ensuring compliance with preservation plans
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, historical societies, and other professionals involved in the project
- Providing guidance on the use of appropriate materials and techniques for restoration work
- Preparing reports and documentation related to preservation projects
