Senior Architect for a leading architecture firm in Odense, Denmark


As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various architectural projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, and use your expertise to create innovative and functional designs that meet their requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be leading a team of architects and collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Lead the design process from concept development to construction documentation
- Oversee the work of junior architects and provide guidance and mentorship
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Review design plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect in a reputable firm
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English (Danish language proficiency is a plus)
