In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records for the city, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the city
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare financial reports, including budgets and forecasts
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations
- Assist with audits as needed
- Communicate with other departments to gather necessary data for financial reporting
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.
