Head Pastry Chef

As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing all pastry dishes for our restaurant in Odense. You will work closely with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and ensure that all pastries are prepared and presented to the highest standards. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry will be key in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the pastry menu, ensuring it is in line with our restaurant's concept and meets customer preferences
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs, providing guidance on techniques, recipes, and presentation
- Oversee the preparation of all pastries, ensuring they are made to the highest quality standards
- Maintain inventory and order necessary ingredients to ensure a smooth running of the pastry section
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dishes and incorporate seasonal ingredients into the menu
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, tools, and equipment
- Creative flair with a strong eye for detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior chefs
- Good time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Education:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
- Additional certification in pastry arts is a plus

Salary:
We are offering a salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based in Odense, Denmark. Applicants must have valid work authorization for Denmark.
