Junior Network and Systems Administrator


As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network and computer systems of our company in Kolding. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting issues, performing system backups, and ensuring the security of our network. You will also assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software, as well as providing technical support to end-users.

To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, and computer hardware. You should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot issues that may arise. Additionally, you must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system backups
- Install new hardware and software as needed
- Ensure the security of our network by implementing necessary measures
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a clear and concise manner
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology to suggest improvements for our network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, and computer hardware
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred:
- Relevant degree or certification in Information Technology or related field
