Information Security Analyst - Entry Level

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's data and systems from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with our IT team to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and monitor for any potential breaches.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and recommend improvements to our current systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all departments are adhering to security policies
- Provide training and support to employees on safe data handling practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Knowledge of network and system security principles
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP or CISM
- Previous experience in an information security role
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms

Location: Kolding, Denmark (Preference for local candidates)

Salary: $900 per month (Negotiable based on qualifications)
