Data Mining Specialist



As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement data mining strategies and techniques, using various software tools and programming languages. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically and creatively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Using statistical methods and data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Creating visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights based on data analysis
- Developing predictive models using machine learning algorithms
- Assessing the quality of data inputs and making recommendations for improvement
- Staying up-to-date on industry developments related to data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience with data mining tools such as SAS, SPSS or RapidMiner
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, random forests, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze large datasets efficiently
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data sets
- Strong problem-solving skills with a critical thinking mindset
Location: Kolding (Relocation assistance may be provided)
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
