Database Administrator
As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases. This includes designing, implementing, and optimizing database structures to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. You will also be responsible for ensuring data security and integrity, as well as troubleshooting any database issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain database structures
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Optimize database performance through regular monitoring and tuning
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Keep up-to-date with new database technologies and trends to constantly improve the company's databases
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience with database design, implementation, and administration
- Strong knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g. Python)
- Familiarity with database management tools (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)
- Understanding of data security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Location:
This position is based in Kolding but may require occasional travel to our other locations.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month.
Employment Type:
This is a contract position with the opportunity for future full-time employment.
