The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases in Kolding, Denmark. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of database management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. As the Database Administrator, you will work closely with our IT team to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of our databases. You will also be responsible for implementing and managing database backups and disaster recovery plans. This position offers a competitive salary of 1800$ per month without accommodation but with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security
- Troubleshoot issues related to databases, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity, and system failures
- Implement and manage database backups and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with IT team to identify areas for improvement in database systems
- Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for optimization
- Develop technical documentation related to database systems
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience in data analysis and performance tuning
- Familiarity with disaster recovery procedures and best practices for data protection
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (such as GDPR)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Danish is a plus)
