Contract Interpreter (Visa Sponsorship Available) in Kolding, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Kolding, Denmark. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This role requires fluency in at least two languages, including English and the language(s) of the individuals you will be interpreting for.

Responsibilities:
- Listen to speakers and accurately interpret their messages into the target language
- Convey tone, emotion, and intent of the original message
- Facilitate conversation between individuals who do not speak the same language
- Remain impartial and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Research terminology and maintain knowledge of specialized vocabulary related to specific industries or subject matters
- Provide cultural guidance if needed during interactions between individuals from different backgrounds

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (Danish preferred)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Proficiency with technology such as translation software or audio equipment used for interpretation

Salary: 1100$ per week

Location: Kolding, Denmark (visa sponsorship available)
