Facade Designer

As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating the external appearance of buildings. This role requires a creative and innovative mind, attention to detail, and strong technical skills in order to produce high-quality facades that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to develop designs that meet client requirements while adhering to building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to determine design requirements for building facades
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications for facade designs using CAD software
- Select appropriate materials for facades based on functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure design feasibility
- Prepare cost estimates for facade materials and construction
- Review shop drawings and samples from contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Monitor construction progress and provide guidance as needed to ensure proper implementation of facade designs
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies related to facade design

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade design
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Ability to read architectural drawings
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements

Salary: $1100 per month (full-time)

Location: Kolding (preference for local candidates)
