Plasterboard Worker

Plasterboard workers are skilled professionals who specialize in installing and finishing plasterboard or drywall in buildings. They work with a variety of tools and materials to create smooth, seamless walls and ceilings. As a plasterboard worker, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard to cover walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. You will also be required to apply joint tape and compound to seal joints between sheets of plasterboard. This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and fit plasterboard to cover walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster, filling holes or cracks, and sanding rough spots
- Apply joint tape and compound to seal joints between sheets of plasterboard
- Secure panels to walls or ceiling using screws or nails
- Sand down rough areas for a smooth finish
- Repair any damaged areas or imperfections in the plasterboard
- Follow safety procedures while working at heights or with heavy materials
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a plasterboard worker or similar role
- Good physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Familiarity with different types of plasterboards and their applications
- Knowledge of different jointing techniques and compounds
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Danish is a plus)
- Valid work permit for Denmark (free visa will be provided if necessary)

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Kolding, Denmark

Type: Contract job with possibility for extension
