Metal Worker


As a Metal Worker in Kolding, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and products. Your primary duty will be to operate a variety of hand and power tools to shape, cut, weld, and polish metal into desired forms. You will also be required to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate metal products using a variety of tools including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication.
- Cut, shape, bend, and join metal pieces using various techniques such as welding, soldering, bolting or riveting.
- Smooth rough edges on metal products using hand tools or powered grinders.
- Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain clean work area by disposing of waste materials properly.
- Follow all safety procedures when working with potentially hazardous equipment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a metal worker or similar role.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in operating various hand and power tools used in metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with different types of metals used in construction such as steel, aluminum, and copper.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Trade school certificate in metalworking or related field.
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques such as MIG or TIG welding.
- Experience working with sheet metal fabrication.

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided.
