Heavy Equipment Operator



We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Kolding. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines to complete construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety guidelines and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before each use
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate project tasks
- Perform daily equipment inspection reports and document any issues or needed repairs
- Follow proper excavation techniques and grade materials according to specifications
- Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner, being mindful of surroundings and other workers
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid certification or license for operating heavy equipment (e.g. CDL)
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position.

Location: This position is located in Kolding, Denmark.
