Preservation Architect



We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Kolding, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and sites while ensuring they maintain their cultural and architectural significance. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and assessment of historical buildings to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to preservation standards
- Monitor the condition of historic buildings and provide recommendations for maintenance or repairs
- Communicate with stakeholders including government agencies, property owners, and community groups regarding preservation efforts
- Stay updated on current laws, policies, and techniques related to historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation
- Experience working with historical buildings and knowledge of architectural styles from different time periods
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and conservation methods for historic structures
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel if necessary
