Preservation Architect

We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Kolding. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while adhering to preservation guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary repairs and restoration work
- Developing preservation strategies and plans, including budgeting and scheduling
- Overseeing the restoration process, working closely with contractors and other professionals
- Ensuring compliance with preservation guidelines, regulations, and codes
- Conducting research on the history and architectural significance of buildings under restoration
- Documenting all work done, including before and after photos, reports, and other documentation as required
- Collaborating with local government agencies, historical societies, and other stakeholders as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or restoration work
- Knowledge of preservation guidelines, regulations, and codes
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
