Preservation Architect - Contract Position in Kolding, Denmark



We are seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Kolding, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed plans and designs for preservation projects, taking into consideration the historical significance and current condition of the structure
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful execution of preservation projects
- Oversee all aspects of preservation projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
- Conduct research on materials and techniques suitable for preserving historical buildings
- Provide guidance and support to clients on the maintenance and upkeep of their historical properties
- Stay updated on local regulations and standards related to preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historic architecture, building materials, construction techniques, and preservation standards
- Excellent design skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills preferred)

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
