Job Title: Skilled Fitter


A reputable manufacturing company in Kolding is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing various mechanical components and equipment in accordance with blueprints, diagrams or technical specifications. Your main duties will include using hand and power tools to fabricate, align and fit parts together, performing routine maintenance on machinery and identifying any potential issues or defects.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with technical training in mechanical engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to determine assembly methods
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Use hand and power tools to fabricate parts
- Install mechanical components according to specifications
- Test completed assemblies for functionality
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly or installation
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
