Excavator Operator

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Kolding. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. You must have a valid license to operate heavy machinery and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times. Previous experience in excavation is preferred but not required. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues
- Follow safety procedures at all times and ensure the safety of others on the job site
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with team members while operating equipment
- Dig trenches, level land, and move materials as directed by project managers
- Load trucks with materials for transport and unload materials at designated locations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- Valid license to operate heavy machinery
- Proven experience operating excavators or other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures on construction sites
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project requirements
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in excavation or related field
- Experience with GPS technology for precision digging
- Familiarity with different types of excavators and their capabilities
