Executive Chef

Our busy restaurant in Kolding is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As the head of our culinary department, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Chef, with previous experience in a leadership role
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative menu development skills with a focus on seasonal ingredients
- Experience with budgeting and inventory management
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one
- Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that are on-trend and meet the needs of our diverse clientele
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution of menu items
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times
- Manage food costs by minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
