Part-Time Executive Chef
A renowned restaurant in Kolding is seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations. Your role will also involve managing kitchen operations, supervising and training kitchen staff, as well as maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and cater to customers' tastes
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meets the restaurant's standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on budget planning and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavors, and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Proven track record of menu planning, recipe development, cost control, inventory management
,and maintaining high food quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
,and delivering timely results
Salary: $1100 per month (based on experience)
Location: Kolding (Preference for local candidates)
