Job Title: Librarian
We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team at the Kolding Library. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library resources and programs to the community. This is a full-time position open to all nationalities, with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library collections by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and maintaining materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries in person or through digital resources
- Plan and implement library programs and activities to engage community members of all ages
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, organizations, and community groups to promote library services
- Train and supervise volunteers or staff members in library tasks such as shelving books or assisting patrons
- Oversee circulation desk operations including checking materials in/out, issuing library cards, collecting fines/fees, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, patron accounts, and statistics on usage

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to adapt to new technology and digital resources for research purposes
- Knowledge of literature genres and popular reading materials
- Customer service experience preferred
- Fluency in English (additional language skills a plus)

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
