Chef de Cuisine



We are in search of an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Kolding. As the head chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Your creativity and passion for cooking will be essential in elevating our dining experience and maintaining our reputation as a top restaurant.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a head chef or executive chef
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create innovative menus that cater to different dietary preferences
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase local produce and reflect current food trends
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed while keeping within budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control measures, and menu pricing strategies

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a head chef or executive chef
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficient in English (Danish is an asset)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

City:
This position is located in Kolding, Denmark. Relocation assistance can be provided for the right candidate.
