Job Title: Welder Technician


We are searching for a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Kolding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in industrial and commercial settings. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques on metal components and structures, ensuring they are strong, durable, and free from defects.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Select appropriate materials based on project specifications
- Clean, prepare, and position metal components for welding
- Weld components using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Monitor the quality of welds to ensure they meet industry standards
- Inspect completed welds for cracks or other defects
- Repair any damaged or imperfect welds as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working with hot metals and gases

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in welding preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial welding
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of various types of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Familiarity with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.
