Computer Support Specialist

We are in need of a skilled Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Vejle. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network systems.

To excel in this role, you should have experience in computer systems and networks, as well as strong problem-solving skills. A degree or certification in computer science or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also important for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Install and configure computer systems and network equipment
- Maintain network security by monitoring activity and implementing necessary updates
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex issues
- Keep accurate records of client interactions and solutions provided
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies to improve efficiency of support services

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and security systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems quickly and effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-tech users
- Customer-oriented approach with good problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- Must be able to work without accommodation
- Must be legally authorized to work in Vejle
