Information Security Analyst

We are in search of an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential threats or attacks. Your main duties will include performing security assessments, monitoring network activity, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Monitor network traffic and analyze logs to detect any suspicious activity
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and proactively suggest improvements to our current security measures
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure security compliance across all systems
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security best practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Experience with network monitoring tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks or breaches quickly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred but not required

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Employment type: Contract (with the possibility of extension)

Location: Vejle, Denmark (no accommodation provided)
