Job Title: Database Administrator (Contract) - Vejle, Denmark


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and implementing necessary updates or improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases according to company requirements
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues or errors that may arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain database applications
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as data optimization, index rebuilding, etc.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, etc.
- Familiarity with SQL programming language
- Experience with database design and implementation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
