Contract Interpreter in Vejle, Denmark

We are in search of a skilled Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Vejle. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as fluency in at least two languages.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Interpreter
- Fluency in at least two languages, including Danish and another language of your choice
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt communication accordingly
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and think quickly on your feet
- Flexibility to work on a contract basis
- Valid work permit or visa for Denmark (visa sponsorship available)
- Previous experience working with diverse populations is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between parties who do not speak the same language
- Interpret conversations accurately and impartially, ensuring all parties understand each other clearly
- Translate written documents as needed
- Remain neutral and confidential while interpreting sensitive information
- Help bridge cultural gaps and promote understanding between individuals from different backgrounds
- Adapt language interpretation to match the tone and context of the original message
