Our publishing company is in need of a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Vejle, Denmark. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various publications such as books, magazines, and newspapers. This role requires a high attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Format text according to design specifications using desktop publishing software
- Arrange images and graphics in a visually appealing manner
- Proofread and edit text for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members from different departments

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working in the publishing industry
- Knowledge of Danish language is a plus
