Facade Engineer (Vejle, Denmark)



As a Facade Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and construction of building facades in Vejle, Denmark. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of building exteriors. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to create innovative and functional facade designs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for facade improvements
- Collaborating with architects to develop facade designs that align with project goals and budget
- Creating detailed drawings and specifications for facade components such as cladding, glazing, and support systems
- Performing structural analysis to ensure that the facade can withstand wind loads, seismic activity, and other external forces
- Reviewing contractor submittals and providing technical support during construction
- Conducting quality control inspections to ensure that the facade is built according to design specifications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in facade engineering or a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software
- Familiarity with relevant building codes and industry standards for facades
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform structural calculations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
- Experience working on high-rise or complex building projects
- Knowledge of advanced analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
