Metal Fabricator

As a Metal Fabricator in our Vejle-based manufacturing company, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal products using various tools and techniques. You will work with a team of skilled metal workers to produce custom parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. Your role will involve cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metal pieces to create functional and visually appealing products. Attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills are essential in this role as you will need to ensure the accuracy of measurements and the quality of the finished product. You must also have a good understanding of different types of metals and their properties to select the appropriate material for each project.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, sketches or work orders to determine project specifications
- Use various tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and torches to cut and shape metal pieces
- Weld or join metal pieces together using different techniques (MIG/TIG welding)
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using measuring tools
- Inspect completed products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledgeable in different types of metals and their properties
- Skilled in operating various hand and power tools
- Ability to perform precise measurements with accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting
