Job Title: Heritage Preservation Architect

As a Heritage Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and conserving historical buildings, structures, and sites in Vejle. Your main duties will include conducting assessments of heritage sites, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also work closely with government agencies and community organizations to ensure proper preservation of cultural heritage. Additionally, you will be required to conduct research on preservation techniques and materials, as well as provide guidance and support to other architects and construction teams involved in preservation projects.

To excel in this role, you must possess a degree in Architecture or a related field, with a specialization in Historical Preservation. You should have a strong understanding of architectural history, building materials and techniques used in historical construction, as well as knowledge of current preservation laws and regulations. Experience working on preservation projects is preferred.

As a Heritage Preservation Architect, attention to detail is crucial as you will be responsible for accurately documenting the conditions of heritage sites and creating detailed restoration plans. You must also have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with various stakeholders such as government officials, community members, and other professionals.

This position requires someone who is passionate about preserving cultural heritage and has a deep appreciation for historical architecture. The ability to think creatively and problem-solve is also essential in this role.

As this position involves working with heritage sites that are often open to the public, candidates must possess a biometric passport to ensure smooth travel within Vejle or other locations if required.
