Preservation Architect - Contract Position in Vejle, Denmark

As a Preservation Architect in this contract position, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Vejle, Denmark. You will work closely with the local government and community to ensure that these cultural treasures are maintained for future generations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration work
- Develop detailed plans for preservation projects, including budgeting, timelines, and materials needed
- Collaborate with local government officials, community stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Oversee construction work to ensure quality and accuracy in preserving the historical integrity of the structure
- Conduct regular inspections of completed projects to identify any necessary maintenance or repairs

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture or a similar field
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software
- Fluency in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
- Must have a valid biometric passport

Salary: Competitive salary starting at 1600$ per month
