Seasonal Executive Chef in Vejle, Denmark
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Vejle, Denmark. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and creative menus for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create seasonal menus with a focus on local ingredients
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budgeting for the kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and innovation in menu creation
- Knowledge of local Danish cuisine is preferred
- Must have own visa to work in Denmark
- Must be able to work without accommodation
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per week for this seasonal position.
