Part-time Executive Chef in Vejle, Denmark
A high-end restaurant in Vejle, Denmark is looking for a part-time Executive Chef to join our team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and creating delicious and innovative dishes for our guests. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 900$.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and sanitation
- Create new and unique dishes that reflect the restaurant's style and vision
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients are always available
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and management team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- Must have valid work permit for Denmark
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
