As the Head Chef at our upscale fine dining restaurant in Vejle, Denmark, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests. Your creativity, passion for food, and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining the restaurant's reputation as one of the top dining destinations in the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new concepts and improve operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Danish or international culinary degree is preferred
Salary: 1600$ monthly (negotiable based on experience)
