Executive Pastry Chef

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating and overseeing the production of all pastry items for our high-end restaurant in Vejle. This individual will work closely with the Head Chef to develop new dessert menus, train and supervise kitchen staff, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry, strong leadership skills, and experience in a fine dining establishment. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

As an Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for:

- Developing new dessert menus to complement our seasonal cuisine
- Ensuring all pastries are prepared to the highest standard and presented beautifully
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain stock levels
- Training and supervising kitchen staff on pastry techniques and recipes
- Maintaining a clean and organized pastry station at all times
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique and delicious desserts
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Proficiency in English (Danish language skills preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
