Waiter/Waitress


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our bustling restaurant in Vejle. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages with efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure all orders are entered correctly into the system and delivered to the correct table in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions or concerns from customers
- Handle any customer complaints or issues with professionalism and tact
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations
- Assist with setting up tables for new customers and clearing tables once they have finished dining
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure all food is prepared correctly and meets quality standards
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe dining experience for both customers and employees

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in the hospitality industry preferred but not required as training will be provided for freshers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables at once while maintaining quality service
- Attention to detail to ensure all orders are correct before serving them to guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
