Senior Executive Chef - Al-Khor, Qatar


We are in search of a talented and experienced Senior Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in Al-Khor, Qatar. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences and leading a team of talented chefs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end restaurants or hotels, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu development.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the resort's culinary operations, including managing kitchen staff, creating menus, and ensuring high-quality food production.
- Develop creative and unique menus that cater to the diverse preferences of our guests.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safe food handling practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of food service for events and special occasions.
- Manage food costs by implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
- Continuously seek new ways to improve the dining experience for guests.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic would be an asset).
- Must be able to obtain necessary work permits for non-Qatari nationals.

Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required.
