Tutor vacancy in Doha Qatar

English Language Tutor

As an English Language Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students of various ages and backgrounds to improve their English language skills. This position is based in Doha, and we are specifically looking for candidates from Egypt or Canada who are fluent in English and have experience living or working in an English-speaking country.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to the needs of individual students
- Conduct one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to help students improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and make learning fun
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to both students and their parents/guardians
- Prepare students for English language proficiency exams such as TOEFL or IELTS
- Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to share ideas and resources for effective teaching practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience teaching English as a second language
- Familiarity with various teaching methods and techniques for language acquisition
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA)
- Experience living or working in an English-speaking country
- Multilingual abilities (Arabic, French, Spanish)

Salary: $1600 per month

This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. We offer visa sponsorship for international candidates. Accommodation is not provided.
