Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for the hotel through developing and implementing effective sales strategies. They will be in charge of identifying potential clients, building and maintaining relationships with them, and negotiating contracts. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the hotel industry, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. They should also possess strong leadership skills to manage a team of sales representatives. This role requires someone who is highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue for the hotel
- Identify potential clients and build relationships with them
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable deals
- Monitor and analyze market trends to stay ahead of competitors
- Train, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives
- Set sales targets and ensure they are met or exceeded
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance for management
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to provide excellent service to clients
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales management
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Strong understanding of the hotel industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed
