Indian Chef - Al Buraymi
As an Indian Chef in Al Buraymi, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant. Your role will involve overseeing the kitchen operations, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of Indian dishes, both traditional and modern
- Develop new recipes and menu items to keep our food offerings fresh and exciting
- Oversee kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Ensure that all food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, spices, and flavors
- Ability to create new recipes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food safely
Salary: 900$ per month
